Since the death of James Berlin, there have been very few advocates for social epistemic pedagogy. To what would you attribute to this decline in popularity and what merit, if any, does social epistemic pedagogy still carry in the 21st century?
Ha ha, just kidding. What'd you do over spring break? As usual, 250 word post up by Thursday night (03/24) and 100 word response up by Sunday night (03/27).
Spring break was pretty simple for me, but extremely fun. I hit the beach just about everyday and laid by the pool the days I was not at the beach. I would say my favorite part of spring break was the first Sunday when I attended the Strawberry Festival all day, and at night went to the Lady Antebellum concert, which I must say was stellar. As the week went on I was able to hang out with many of my high school friends and we were able to catch up on each others lives since we had left and gone away to college. Towards the end of the week I went to my high school track meet, which made me miss track so much, but it was good to cheer my peers on as an alumni of a team I was once on. I also went and cheered on one of my best friends at she participated in the Pinellas vs. Hillsborough senior all star basketball game. It was a big game for her, as well as the last one she will ever play in; truly an honor to be selected in. Lastly, as the week ended it was filled with birthday festivities as my mom's and grandma's birthday were within two days of each other. We simply ate dinner together, and enjoyed the time we had. All in all this spring break was much needed and it was nice to have a relaxing week off of school.
ReplyDeleteFirst off I would like to say that was not a funny joke my heart started pounding after the first sentence! My spring break was a well needed vacation but was not long enough. I think of spring break as more of a tease for summer! The whole 7 days we were off revolved under the sun basically every day. Every morning I woke up at 9 and went to my high school and worked out with my flag football team and it just reminded me on how I did not miss practice at all! After that I took out my uncles boat a jet skies the majority of the break. Being on the boat was great because one day I would go out with my family and spend time with them and then other times I would take out my friends. Even though I did not have many friends home because USF likes to be cool and schedule a different break than the world I still managed with my cool friends at the community colleges. The last weekend of spring break I headed down to South Beach to meet up some of my USF friends that were staying there instead of going home out of state. I’ve never seen so many people on a beach in my life. What was even funnier is most of the people I saw were from USF so I made a lot of new friends. Well thats all and I cant wait for summer only 44 more days!
ReplyDeleteMy spring break was pretty wild, well at least for me. This was my first time off on my own for break so I had a little freedom and I decided to go take a tour of east Florida. First stop was Cocoa Beach. A couple of friends and I split the cost of a hotel and we stayed there for the first half of the week. It was fun; I met some kids from Indiana on break that were pretty cool. After that I took the train down to Fort Lauderdale and stayed at a friend’s house in Weston. The Amtrak was awesome! Everyone was so nice, the chairs were extremely comfortable, and I got to meet a couple people, all for 35 bucks plus 7 bucks for a hotdog and drink. Anyways, I hit up Hollywood beach in Fort Lauderdale, South Beach in Miami, and the Bahia Honda Park and Key West where I got pulled out into one of those street shows. For the last half of the trip I was pretty much a third wheel but I still had fun. It’s always good to get a break from school and going to the beach every day helped to get my mind off things. I also got pretty dark so if you consider that to be a good thing than I guess it’s another plus. The best part of the trip was making some new friends and getting to see a little bit of Florida. Key West was BEAutiful for those that haven’t been. It definitely sucked driving there though.
ReplyDelete@ jalasmar
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a pretty funny joke, but I agree, kind of scary. Social epistemic pedagogy and James Berlin aren’t my two strongest suits. Boating sounds like a great way to spend your break. My dad has one but with him being in Iowa and me in Florida I definitely miss it. So you went to South Beach too? I went on Friday and all there was a bunch of families. I was picturing more of the party scene that I saw on TV but maybe I wasn’t on the right part of it. Anyways, 44 more days whoop whoop!
Spring Break my freshman year in college was great. My girlfriend, her best friend and her boyfriend all went to a timeshare at a resort near Downtown Disney. We took the week and explored Downtown Disney as well as the nearby Citywalk at Universal. We ate at my favorite restaurant – Ragland Road (an Irish pub at Downtown Disney) – the day before St. Patrick’s Day. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better, plus the live Irish music just makes the evening. Spent the next day at Citywalk where we all decided to eat at Bubba Gump, as hectic and busy as the place was the food was delicious. Forest Gump is an awesome movie too so all the trivia and memorabilia was a sight to see. During the day we would all walk around the resort, enjoying the great weather and the 3 different pools offered to anyone staying at the resort. After our fun at Downtown Disney and Citywalk we came back home and I spent the rest of the week relaxing with my girlfriend at her place – enjoyed movies and cheap, but great, take out. All things considered I had an incredible Spring Break this year, looking forward to my next one, and I am a bit bummed to be back at school – it was hard waking up early again this morning.
ReplyDeleteThis spring break was definitely long awaited. I haven’t seen my high school friends since Christmas break when I went home to Kentucky for the month. This week was a reunion for all of our friends from Lexington, Louisville, Tuscaloosa, and of course Tampa. We all traveled to Fort Lauderdale Beach for an amazing week together. I woke up early Saturday morning to start the drive to Fort Lauderdale to pick up a few friends from the airport. We couldn’t check in until three o’clock, so we hit the grocery store to stock up on some food. After making a couple trips up to the room, we were finally settled in. By the following day, all of our friends had arrived. Now it was time for some fun! Our hotel sat right on the beach. As you can imagine, we were either laying out on the beach catching some much needed sun, at least those from out of state, or hanging out in the pool or hot tub. Every night we took a shuttle to downtown Fort Lauderdale and checked out some venues and clubs. For seven days straight I was able to do what I love yet miss the most: hang out with my best friends on the beach and then go out at night. I hated to see the week come to an end, but I know that summer is just around the corner! I was also able to go to dinner with my grandparents, dad, and brother who live in West Palm Beach, which I definitely enjoyed. I already can’t wait for Spring Break 2012!
ReplyDelete@jalasmar
ReplyDeleteI could not have said it any better myself. Spring break was definitely a tease for summer and it was not long enough. All seven days revolved around the sun for me too. It's pretty crazy though that you said USF had a different spring break than the rest of your friends. For me, I was shocked to find out that I had the same week off as my friends in Kentucky and Alabama. I guess it just depends on the schools we both were talking about. You mentioned going to South Beach over break. I went to Fort Lauderdale and wanted to make a trip there at some point but it never happened. I can only imagine how many people were there. Miami is definitely a hot spot. Lastly, thanks for the countdown at the end of your post. I hope these forty-four days fly by!
My Spring break was pretty eventful. I started my break a day early and Thursday night after the Bulls Business Community Open House, I packed up, headed back to South Tampa, and headed out to Lake Tahoe, California early the next morning for some hardcore snow skiing! I skied on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The bad part is, my break was full of epic fails as well. That began when I drove to South Tampa (about twenty five minutes away to my house) to leave for break, and had to drive all the way back because I forgot may laptop. The fourth and fifth days of my ski trip were snowed out, so I didn’t get to ski on Tuesday or Wednesday because the snow was so heavy. On Wednesday when we headed back to the airport, the battery in the rental car died, and when we finally resolved that and headed into Reno, I had to end up waiting five hours in the airport. On Thursday when I was back in Tampa I had to go to the airport post office to get my passport for a study abroad this summer, but I forgot my birth certificate, so on the way back home I accidently got in the wrong lane and ended up driving over the Howard-Franklin bridge. On Friday when I went back to the post office and brought my birth certificate with me, I ran out of gas leaving and had to wait for an hour for my dad to bring a gas can. My weekend was pretty awesome when I was reunited with my best friend/ roommate and we went to Freebie Weebie, but the last epic fail for break was that my accounting exam studying (for the exam Monday morning) didn’t begin until 1:00 AM. I’m sorry for the pain I’ve put you through if you actually read all that.
ReplyDelete@brittnicoral
ReplyDeleteWow, that sounds like one eventful spring break. I mean it sounds like you had a blast for the most part, but it was a little rough for some as well. I'm sure Lake Tahoe is fun, that is one of my favorite places ever. Yet, it did in fact make me a little stressed reading all of this, because I know I would have been freaking out the whole time, but think at least you did not have school in al of that mess because that would have been twice as bad. Its almost summer though so try and relax then and not have this rough of a time.
My spring break was actually not that great. The first Friday and Saturday were decent, but when Sunday came aroung things family problem arose. These problems cause everyone alot of stress for the next couple days, and I kept having to find ways to get out of the house to get away from all the stuff that was going on. On Wednesday I went over to Miami with my mom to help some friends of the family paint a room in their house and watch their kids. That honestly was one of the best days of spring break and it included labor and babysitting...pretty sad. It was hard to thoroughly enjoy anything though because I kept thinking of all the studying I needed to get done for a huge accounting exam on the Monday and Wednesday after spring break. (yea, it's two parts) Friday morning I actually drove back up to school to study for the next couple of days. I did have one amazing experience though. The Saturday before the end of spring break I went to a rave with the dj Avicii. It was an amazing time and the music was fantastic. Kind of a crappy spring break, but that concert made it worth it. And now my accounting exam is officially over, so it's all good.
ReplyDelete@maxwell
ReplyDeleteYour spring break sounds awesome. I'm very jealous. I would have loved being on my own for spring break and just drive all over Florida. I'm from Naples and I live like 5 minitues from the beach, so I'm kind of over that whole thing, but visiting random beaches and just relaxing actually sounds like alot of fun. You should visit Siesta Key in Sarasota if you ever get the chance...the sand is like flour! It's really pretty. It sounds like your break was a totaly succes and even though being a third wheel totally sucks, it's cool you made the most out of it! Fun stuff. :)
@kcheek
ReplyDeleteThats a huge bummer that your spring break wasn’t ideal. It sucks when family problems get in the way of basically everything. I know exactly what you mean basically my whole entire summer last year was so stressful because of problems running through my family. I went to miami as well but not for labor you should of snuck away for a few hours and went to the beach :). Speaking of accounting I have to take it next semester and I’m not looking forward to it at all! I hard it was super hard. Well, I hope your summer is better the your spring break!!
This was actually the first Spring Break that I actually stayed in the local area and didn’t travel anywhere pretty far like I usually do. It wasn’t all that exciting but I was just thankful to have a few days off to rest because it was much needed. The only time I got to see friends was during the first weekend of break and even though it was a short amount of time, it was really nice and I had a good time. I met up with my best friend who was just finishing her break and heading back to Tallahassee the next day, so it was great to have dinner with her since I haven’t seen her since Christmas break. I worked the rest of that first weekend and rested a lot when I got home. The next few days consisted of being at home and actually having to work on homework, unfortunately, since three of my professors decided to have their tests the first few days after the break, so I had a lot of studying to do. After a few days of homework and working during the week, I took a break and wanted to do something fun. My Mom and I went to Busch Gardens and then St. Pete Beach near the end of the break and it was a lot of fun. The last weekend of break I worked both days- one of them involving an eleven hour shift, so I was pretty exhausted for the start of the week back to school, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteMy spring break was pretty uneventful. Whenever I come home for my breaks now, I volunteer at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center where I work at the gift shop. I did that for three or four days. I also got a haircut because I my hair was getting way too messy. I also went for a run on the beach for the first time, so that was really nice. My dad wanted to take me skiing with his girlfriend, but I had a lot of work to get done, so I didn’t go. I took four quizzes for my religions class, so I didn’t have to worry about that when I came back to USF. I finally had the chance to watch Fight Club after reading the book, and I have to say that I liked the ending in the novel better, probably because it was more realistic. Overall my break was nice besides for the fact that a lot of people had gone back to school that week.
ReplyDeleteSpring break this year for me was pretty good! It was different than most years because my family always travels on breaks and we usually go see other family in North Carolina. This year, however, I had a different spring break week than my brother and sister, so we ended up staying here. I was a little disappointed that our break was a week later than some of the other colleges in Florida because a good amount of my friends were not here since they had to go back to school so I mostly just worked and went to the pool with my best friend. On Thursday though, my mom surprised me with a trip to Orlando for a few days, and we went to Universal, saw Blue Man Group, and go to do some shopping. Spring Break this year was very relaxing, simple, and enjoyable. While it was very nice to have a week off of class, I was sad when break was over and it was time to head back to school, I felt like the week flew. Although it was fun, spring break made me really look forward to summer and all the time off; thankfully summer is only a few short weeks away!
ReplyDeleteSpring Break is the biggest tease of a vacation. While I definitely enjoyed it, as soon as I unpacked my stuff I brought home, it was time to pack it back up and come back to school. However, as short as the week was, I still managed to cram in some good times. My main goal for spring break was to get as tan as possible and after going either to the beach or to the pool five of the spring break days, I would say that was pretty much accomplished. Unfortunately I was never able to go too far away because I work about everyday so at least I was having fun during the day and making the not-so-big-bucks at night. The best part was definitely being able to sleep in. If there’s anything I hate about school it is waking up early because I do not even remember the last time I went to be before one. I also did some much needed catching up with my boyfriend who I rarely see during the school week because the drive is a pain and we have such opposite schedules. One of the best days we had together was fishing with friends of ours. We did not keep any of the fish but it was fun because we were actually catching fish instead of sitting there holding limp fishing poles all day. In the end, I would say that my spring break, while it may not have been epic, was definitely fun and a well needed break from school.
ReplyDeleteOver spring break, I went to Seattle, Washington for my cousin’s wedding. The week before the wedding, my family and I stopped in Las Vegas for a couple of days and then flew up to Seattle. It was an eventful, but long spring break. I did enjoy it even though there was a lot of running around to do. While in Las Vegas, I hung around the pool (seeing that I am not 21 yet) and went shopping. There are so many different restaurants to try while in Las Vegas too. We also went and saw a show at the Planet Hollywood hotel. A few days after that, we flew up to the cold and rainy city of Seattle. Even though the weather was not the most enjoyable, I spent time with my family that does not live in Florida and got to catch up. The wedding was the last weekend of spring break and it was beautiful. The wedding was held in a mansion and I was able to enjoy time with my family I never really see. My aunt and uncle lived in Wisconsin and Alaska most of their lives and I therefore, have not been able to spend much time with them and get to know them. Luckily, it was their son getting married and I was able to spend more time with them and get caught up.
ReplyDelete@lindizzy91
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. I love to sleep in and unfortunately, I was not really able to do so for the majority of my break because I was in a hotel room almost the entire break with my parents who get up about 8 o’clock. Also, I wish I had time to sit out by the pool or go to the beach for 5 days. I laid out by the pool a few days, but then spent the remaining days of my spring break in Seattle, Washington where it was cloudy, cold, and rainy.
Spring break 2011 was amazing! Haha yea right, it kind of sucked! For this year’s spring break I took the GMG bus home which was my vacations first disaster. The bus left campus late, then I had to share a seat which I didn’t want to do, then the bus got pulled over by the police (apparently one of the lights blew out), and on top of it all I got home like an hour later than expected. But at least I got home. The next day I did nothing. Then Sunday I went back to my home church which was pretty good. Then after church I went to the pool which was freezing. Then Monday I did nothing again. Tuesday I rode the city bus for the first time alone (well I was with my little cousin who was just as clueless). I took the bus to a shopping plaza and got an outfit for my concert (The USF Gospel Choir concert April 16 in the oval theater). Then Wednesday I did a little spring cleaning and then finally went to the beach around 4:30 in the evening. Only to find a double red flag, one with a no swimming image on it (apparently there was sharks in the shallow waters). Since I’m already tan I definitely don’t go to the beach to tan, I go to swim, but now I can’t swim, great! But the lifeguard goes off duty at 5 then its swim at you own risk, so I took the risk. Then Thursday I came back to Tampa, but I unfortunately I brought my family with me. Then Friday and Saturday I went to Busch Gardens and looked at animals most of the time then I finally got to get on some rides. Sunday I signed my lease for my apartment next year. The End!
ReplyDeleteThis was probably my fastest spring break yet. My family usually goes somewhere for vacation over the break which leaves my week full of stuff to do. Not this year though, since it would've been impossible to coordinate since my high school brother's spring break is later in the month. This is the first time this has happened to us, and it left me with a lot of free time that I mostly spent sleeping till noon and playing volleyball at the Cocoa Beach pier. This is where I saw a lot of my high school friends that still live in the area and attend community college. This caused my days to go by so quickly since I was sleeping the majority of the time. I also ended up spending a lot of time on my jet ski, something that I miss a lot about my weekends at home. I couldn't have asked for better weather for the week as it wasn't too hot out and the breeze wasn't too cool. Definitely no complaints about the food at home either because it was a nice change from cafeteria food. I could have gone to party in Panama City Beach with some friends but I'm glad I stayed home because I saved a lot of money and got to catch up with my family. Overall it was a pretty fun break but basically too short, I'm ready for summer.
ReplyDeleteI had such an amazing spring break! I absolutely loved being able to go back home to Miami to spend time with my family and my best friends. It is tough being away from home for such long periods of time but having the chance to go back home is great. For my first day of spring break I went to IHOP for breakfast with my 4 best friends from high school. We finally had a chance to catch up and talk with one another again. I then spent 2 days straight with my best friend who I have known since the 4th grade. We spent those 2 days doing absolutely nothing, which is something I desperately needed to do. Eventually we made it to south beach for 2 days, which was completely packed. I had never seen south beach so packed in my life, but it was really nice seeing people I knew from FIU and UM which were also on spring break. The one thing I was really happy about was my mom’s birthday falling on my spring break. My dad, 2 brothers, and I surprised my mom with tickets to see Jersey Boys! It was such an amazing show and I have seen a lot of broad way shows and this one was spectacular. I loved being there to see my mom to surprised and happy on her birthday. I spent the last weekend of my spring break at the baseball field supporting my 14-year brother who is a baseball player. I loved being home to watch him play again. I had such a great spring break I cannot wait for summer!
ReplyDelete@jalasmar
ReplyDeletePersonally I found the joke pretty interesting, made me go and search “social epistemic pedagogy” just to see what it was. Although at first I will admit I was a tad bit intimidated by what it might entail. I am pretty jealous though, I have been waiting to get back on a boat so I can go wake-boarding for a couple months now and I just could not do it over Spring Break! Hoping to do it soon, seems like you had yourself a great Spring Break though – very chill and fun so that is good. Just wanted to say I was jealous.
This spring break was exactly what i needed. Time to relax and forget about school. I used the first two days to finish all my homework and to study for my exam which would be the tuesday after we got back. I worked alot during the break but i also had enough time to have fun. I spent alot of time with my girlfriend. We went to the beach, not any beach far away because one of us would always have to work later in the day so we would go to the small beach by Dalemabry and Cypress. Its a good beach to hang out at. I also played alot of basketball during my break and i played football. i hadnt played football in a while, but i found out that i still got it lol oh and we went dancing too. I like to dance salsa and i was trying to make her like it too.
ReplyDeleteI decided not to drink during the break because it always leads to trouble when i do it so i was sober the whole week and i found out that alcohol is not needed to have fun, so i will keep doing without it. Pretty much that was my whole break, i would have liked getting out of Tampa but ill leave that for the summer. Im thinking of going to my home country Colombia to visit.
@ebarton
ReplyDeleteWow, it sounds like your Spring Break was loads of fun. I’ve always wanted to get a ton of people and just head to the beach for the week, but usually everyone has different plans or a different break. Though I’m not from out of state (I’m actually from Tampa), I haven’t seen many of my high school friends since Christmas either. With all of them having a different break than USF’s, I wasn’t able to plan anything with them. I am definitely excited for the summer though, when I can head to the beach and catch some rays, and do everything you did!
@ ebarton
ReplyDeleteLiz it sounds like you had an awesome Spring Break! I know exactly how it feels to miss hanging out with high school friends again. That was the first thing I did when I got home for Spring Break and it was one of my favorite parts of the break. It must have been nice to have the hotel right on the beach. I have actually never been to Ft. Lauderdale beach even though it is like an hour away from Miami, but I have heard it is really nice. I am glad you had such a great Spring Break and like you I cannot wait for Spring Break 2012!

ReplyDeleteI agree with your post, this spring break went by really fast. It was like a sample to taste summer and now i feel like eating the whole thing. Nevertheless a break is exactly what i needed, i feel renewed, i had a great time with my friends and family, and now im even more enthusiastic about the summer break. I also saw alot of my High School friends during the summer. It looks like the bonds you make in High School you keep forever. Okay well now the break is over, lets keep doing all our work and lets finish this spring semester with a freaking bang!
@elliot321
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an awesome spring break. It’s really cool that you used to jet ski because I’ve always wanted to do that. I heard Cocoa Beach is really nice. I live in Palm beach Gardens, so pretty much the only thing I had to do was go to the beach; and I really didn’t do that. I heard that a lot of people were going to Panama City to stay, but I figured it would just be easier to go home for the week and get some work done. Well I am glad you had a fun break!
@Megan. Wow sounds like your spring break was pretty epically amazing! Sucks that you couldn’t experience the adult side of Las Vegas, but the pool is always fun, and it’s always good to enjoy your time as a teenager because it won’t be long before we are old people with much bigger problems to handle (like trying to find the money to pay your mortgage after losing a gamble). But I’m glad you got to spend time with your family, that too is always a great feeling. And getting out of the bipolar Florida weather sounds pleasant too, at least cold rain is predictable. That’s cool they got married in a mansion, sound nice!
ReplyDelete@ebarton. That is awesome that you got to see some good friends this break, I moved here from Kentucky too actually, and I don’t know about you but I miss it a lot! Sounds like you got to have a very fun and relaxing spring break, it was definitely much needed. I am definitely looking forward to summer break, and spring break next year, just have to get through these next couple weeks of school! I hope your summer is as great as your spring break was!
ReplyDelete@arocha
ReplyDeleteThat is great that you had a very memorable Spring Break and that you were able to spend some quality time with close friends and family that you have not seen in so long. That was so nice that you and the rest of your family surprised your Mom with Jersey Boy tickets. I saw that show during my Spring Break of last year in Las Vegas and it was wonderful. I have also seen many broadway shows before because it is something I enjoy watching, and Jersey Boys is definitely one of my favorite broadway shows. I hope your summer is just as fun as your Spring Break!
@megan
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky you got to go to Seattle! One day I plan to move there but I have never been able to actually visit there and see if I would like it. I have tons of family I hardly see also so I know what you mean that it was nice to finally get a chance to catch up. I have never been to Vegas either but I am sure it was slightly annoying being there and not 21 and being unable to do a lot of stuff there. At least you had a wonderful adventure!
@lbass
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain about the staggered spring break's among students. A lot of my friends moved out to different parts of Florida and even out of state so it would be nice to have a break when everyone's back at home. It's also pretty cool that your mom took you to see the Blue Man Group. I've heard they're really unique and always wanted to go see them. Other than that, I can't agree more with your consensus that this break was simple and relaxing, and I'm definitely looking forward to more of that this summer.
I'm a little late on this post, maybe because I actually read the first question of this in March and didn’t finish reading the rest of the prompt, and thought to myself "I am definitely not doing this" and signing out of Firefox. Looking back I can honestly say I'm not the brightest in the world and it has now came back to bite me in the, lack of a better word, tush. Spring break was fun; I went home to Miami and then went on a cruise with my family where we spent much needed quality time. It was pretty uneventful but very relaxing and I was happy to be home again for the first time in 3 months. It’s very hard to be so far away from home, but I enjoyed finally seeing my brother again. The cruise went to Atlantis, Bahamas and Grand Cayman. It was awesome! I met a lot of people from around the world and just had a great time. I got extremely tan and it was relaxing to just sit out by the beach and not have a worry in the world. Spring break most definitely treated me right this year, and I am so excited to see where next year’s spring break is going to take me as well.
ReplyDelete@Maxwell
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome you traveled Florida for your spring break! Well, I'd say I haven't done that before but secret is I have sorry. But that just means I can relate to what you are saying so much better. It must have been so exciting for you, because I remember how much fun I had while I was traveling. The best part about your spring break is that I went to Key West as well for the Suds Run, which is where we celebrate Saint Patrick's day by having parades and drinking green beer! My parents and I go every year, and it's a blast. I also live in Miami, so I can definitely relate to you having fun on South Beach. I'm happy you enjoyed your spring break!
Spring break was a complete blast for me. I did so much stuff I am not even sure where I should start. So I guess I will start with the beginning of spring break, it seems pretty logical. Well I started off in the 813 area code and headed south to my hometown. So my friends and I from Sarasota went to the beach for about 3 days straight and then that began to get a little boring. So out of our boredom spawned a spontaneous road trip to the keys, and then Miami. That is where things began to get interesting: bridge jumping, snorkeling, jet-skis, parasail. That is a list of just a few things we did in 2 days at the keys. Then we got to Miami, of course you need to go to Southbeach, and hit the nightlife. So that’s what we did. This spring break has got to be the best one that I have ever experienced. It will be difficult for any future breaks to top this one. Especially because this one was almost all spontaneous, that adds a little flare to the experience. Now if your wondering what we did for the rest of the break it pretty much consisted of sleeping, and video games. Just a little recooperation from our week of craziness. SB 11 was the best ever and I cannot wait to try to top it!
